Yoga-For Mind, Body, and Spirit
Our yoga practice is a de-stressing, gentle style of yoga called Vinyasa. Vinyasa connects the postures, or asanas, with breath and synchronized movements. The focusing ujjayi breath is used to flow through the practice.
What To Expect
This class begins with a centering meditation, and then proceeds through different variations of yoga poses to relax, tone and de-toxify the body. We will use breath( pranayama) to calm and clear the mind. The practice includes gentle stretches. It also contains standing, sitting and lying down poses. The class will conclude in the resting posture of Sivasana, or bliss state. There will be a guided meditation to continue your journey into a very relaxed and calm state of being. You will leave feeling relaxed and renewed!
